After a 4 week grind, I completed the first course of my Master of Science Information Technology Management degree plan. The class, Information Technology Management – C954, required a great deal of reading and memorization to both prepare myself and complete the final exam.
Unfortunately, my initial attempt at taking the final exam had to be aborted, as the required university-issued webcam was defective. Needless to say, after a painful troubleshooting session with my exam proctor, WGU’s Assessment Services sent me a replacement webcam in 3 days. Upon receiving the new device, I was able to take the final and pass the following morning.
Overall, I enjoyed most of the reading in the course and plan to purchase a Kindle version of one of the supplemental readings which I’ve attach at the end of this post. I am very excited for my next class, Technical Communication – C948, which is less memorization and more composition. I’m hoping to have the first drafts of the writing assignments completed this weekend.
Anyhow, here is to finally making it graduate school and feeling relaxed and accomplished! Back to my studies!
